Jobble Named “Best Venture” at Start-up Stir
This past week Jobble was invited to be among 10 ventures to compete in the May edition of Start-up Stir, hosted at WeWork Boston. The event had over 150 attendees including guest judges for the evening; Scott Kirsner (Boston Globe), Rory Cuddyer (Startup Manager, City of Boston) and Nitesh Banta (Rough Draft Ventures).
Organized by Beacon Hill Partners, Aaron Radez , Start-up Stir is a monthly showcase and competition featuring up and coming ventures in the city of Boston. This was the 18th edition, the most attended event to date and was sponsored by Drizly, The Boston Red Sox, Otto, and WeWork. Each venture was given 2 minutes to “rocket pitch” their idea to the judges and room of onlookers. After all the ventures pitched both the judges and audience voted on the best venture and best pitch.
At this month’s edition, Jobble was named “Best Venture” by the audience vote. Among the winners was Rumi Spice for “Best Venture” from the judge and Fittus for “Best Pitch”.
At Jobble, we love events and always strive to make the most of every event we are a part of. As we always say, we are our first customer and for this event we hired our own event help to make sure everything went off without a hitch. With some help, Jobble had the most trafficked booth which really caught the audience and judge’s eye and made us stand out.
